Rob Dickinson, founder of Singer Vehicle Design, and Italian designer Marco Borraccino established Singer Reimagined in 2017 to reinterpret high-watchmaking while expressing their love for the iconic sport watches of the 1960s and 1970s.

The duo was soon joined by master watchmaker Jean-Marc Wiederrecht who would provide a revolutionary chronograph movement to power their first creation, the Track1 launched in 2017 (we wrote about it here).
Thanks to the AgenGraphe movement, the Track1 offers a centralized indication of the chronograph functions with the time of day presented around the periphery of the dial by the small pointer at 6 o’clock, floating just above 2 rotating discs.
The latest interpretation of this innovative chronograph is the Track1 SKLT Carbon Edition – with SKLT standing for “skeleton” – which features a transparent dial, suspended over the movement, to provide a view of the components below.

Shaped as a structural chassis, the open-work dial reveals the signature minutes wheel below, highlighted in a golden finish, to match the aesthetic of this special watch. Underneath the minutes wheel lies the automatic rotor itself.
The transparent sapphire ring, suspended and riveted to the chassis, carries the single base 60 scale, dedicated to all chronograph functions. This feature, a signature of the Track 1, allows each chrono hand (seconds, minutes and hours) to point to the same scale for improved readability.

On the dial flange, a tachymetric scale is presented with black numerals against a circular brushed golden background.
At the outer edge of the watch, the ceramic rotating hours and minutes discs carry engraved numerals filled in golden Superluminova, against a matte black background. The orange baton-style hands are shaped to perfectly overlap once the chronograph is reset.

The Singer logo is carved from metal and appears like floating over the visible movement.
The 43 mm x 15 mm case is crafted from stratified forged carbon engineered with the intent of reducing mass and enhancing lightness. In order to ensure dimensional perfection and guarantee 100 meters / 330 feet of waterproofness, it has been milled directly from a solid bloc.

Bezel, push buttons and crown are made of grade 5 titanium with black DLC coating with a mirror polished finish to provide a nice contrast with the case.
Thanks to the arrangement of the rotor on the dial side, the innovative architecture of the AgenGraphe calibre and the beautiful finish of its 477 components can be fully admired through the transparent sapphire crystal caseback. Beating at 3 Hz (21,600 vibrations per hour), it offers more than 60 hours of power reserve.

For this model, Singer Reimagined introduces a caoutchouc strap in its collection for the first time. It is secured to the wrist  by a folding buckle made of stainless steel with a black DLC coating.
A limited edition of 25 watches, the Singer Reimagined Track1 SKLT Carbon Edition has a price of CHF 60,000 excluding local sales taxes. singerreimagined.com
