Bulgari and Pisa Orologeria, the largest watch dealer in Italy, collaborated to create a special version of the Octo Finissimo.
Established in 1940 in Milan, Pisa Orologeria soon became a reference point not only for the Italian market but also for an increasingly international clientele. The name is familiar to many watch collectors from all the world because famous watch brands, including Patek Philippe, created special editions exclusively for this historical retailer that achieved important results at watch auctions.
Pisa also operates Pisa Circle, a digital platform for watch enthusiasts and collectors showcasing the products – wristwatches, clocks, watch accessories and jewelry – that available through the company.
The Octo Finissimo for Pisa Orologeria ref. 103750 is characterised by a bronze dial that recalls the colour of the Pisa logo. The satin-brushed finish, the lack of any logo and the laser-engraved indices and numerals contribute to define an elegant and minimalist look. An offset small seconds subdial positioned between 6 and 9 o’clock completes the ensemble.
Featuring a total thickness of just 5.15 mm, the watch comes in a 40 mm-diameter sandblasted titanium case with a titanium crown enhanced by a ceramic insert. Water resistance is guaranteed up to a pressure of 3 bar (approximately 30 metres / 100 feet).
Wound by a platinum micro-rotor, the in-house self-winding Calibre BVL 138 beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour and has a 60-hour power reserve.
Despite the constraints imposed by a thickness of just 2.23 mm, the movement is beautifully hand-decorated with Côtes de Genève and circular-grained finishing that can be appreciated through the caseback sapphire crystal, stamped with the Pisa logo.
Matched to a titanium bracelet composed of supple and articulated links, the Bulgari Octo Finissimo for Pisa Orologeria 103750 is a limited edition of 15 pieces that is only available through Pisa Orologeria. Price on request. bulgari.com
